Erica graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in art education and a Bachelor's of fine arts degree. She started out as a Discovery Preschool teacher at the Glen Ellyn KinderCare. Then, she became the Assistant Director and stayed in that position for three years before being promoted to Director at the Glen Ellyn KinderCare. In 2010 she transferred to the Meyers Road KinderCare center. Erica loves to spend time in the classroom reading Dr. Seuss books to the children and helping them with any art project. She enjoys being a part of so many children's lives and helping families feel comfortable leaving their children in her care.
Ms. Sarah is our assistant center director. She graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in family and consumer sciences. Ms. Sarah was our preschool teacher before becoming the assistant center director. Prior to working for KinderCare Ms. Sarah worked with kindergarten through second grade students with special needs. She also has experience working with infants through four year olds while completing her clinical experience. Ms. Sarah loves to see all the children in the center learning each day!
Ms. Linda is currently the infant room teacher. She started with KinderCare in September of 2013. Ms. Linda has been in the field of early childhood education for over 25 years. She earned her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Triton Community College in 1992. Prior to working for KinderCare, Ms. Linda was an infant and toddler teacher at a Montessori school and a head start school. Ms. Linda cherishes her work in the field of early childhood and adores seeing children reach their developmental milestones.
Ms. Brittany worked as a practicum student at the child development lab and as a student teacher at the Rainbows End Childcare Center while going to school at Southern Illinois University. Ms. Brittany was also an intern at the boys and girl club and the Erma Hayes Center of Carbondale. Her college experience working with children has only enhanced Ms. Brittany's appreciation of early childhood education. She has truly found her passion!
Ms. Edlira is currently one of our toddler teachers. She really enjoys working with young children and watching them grow and learn new things every day. Ms. Edlira completed her Bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1999 while living in Albania. She taught elementary school for 9 years in Albania before moving to the United States. Ms. Edlira has continued her education at College of DuPage focusing on early childhood education courses.
